Function Venue - Bronte, Sydney

Welcome to Bronte Surf Life Saving Club function venue.  Situated on the esplanade overlooking Bronte beach, you and your guests will enjoy the sounds and panoramic views of Bronte Beach on your special occasion.   Our modern open auditorium offers a bar with surround audio and visual facilities.  Large bi-fold glass doors open onto balconies overlooking the beach and adjoining park where  guests may enjoy the breeze in a magnificent setting.

The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 120 people seated and 180 people at a canapé style function.  The club has a selection of tables to be used that include 15 large round tables that can seat 10 people, a number of high tables and stools, and large rectangular trestle tables.  

Ideal for most events including weddings, engagements, and private parties, business conferences, workshops and team building events.  Download Function Brochure

Catering

We offer a complete bar facility and a recommended local caterer Cafe Salina offering menus for any occasion from  canapés, buffets,  even barbeque fare to a la carte dining.

Entertainment

In addition to a 3-metre screen for the display of movies, powerpoint slideshows and more, the club has a surround sound system throughout, compatible with using iPod and MP3 players, CD and a roving wireless microphone.  Our functions manager can also help organise a DJ, dance floor, stage, extra tables, linen, decorations and more.

Rates

Venue hire is $1200 for Friday & Saturday or $950 midweek.  Weddings are $1600.  This includes venue hire for (4.5) hours, cleaning, and 3 bar staff.   An additional $200 is required for security for evening functions to meet our Responsible Service of Alcohol.  Contact our function manager for our special winter rates, May to August.

Business conferences are $600 (incl gst).  This includes weekday venue hire between 9am-5pm and cleaning. 

Existing members who have had full membership with the club for two years or more should enquire with our function manger for the member rate for private functions.

The Bronte Celebrant - Get Married in Style

Location

Our Function Centre is located on the beach promenade at Bronte Beach . The entrance is at the southern side of the building and from the near the top of the stairs at the northern side.

Parking and transport

Bronte Beach offers paid parking on Bronte Road and the Bronte Road Loop (southern side). There is also limited parking in Bronte Marine Drive and Bayview Street (northern side).

Public Transport Bronte Beach is linked by the 378 bus service to Central Railway Station via Bondi Junction Railway Station.  View the Bus timetable information
